TABLE MOUNTAIN AND CITY TOUR
( and optional ROBBEN ISLAND)
Cape Town is one of the ten cities in the world to visit before you die – and it is the recipient of the best destination in Africa award. Cape Town is South Africa's mother city and is known for pristine white sandy beaches and the super impressive Table Mountain as backdrop.
The city tour therefore starts off with a visit to the top of Table Mountain by using the very modern cable car facility. The view from the top of Table Mountain is unbelievable and on a clear day it is possible to see hundreds of kilometres away. This also gives you a bird's eye view of the peninsula, which makes it easier to understand the city. After enjoying a cup of coffee at the restaurant, you head off to explore the heart of the city, which includes a visit to the Castle of Good Hope, the oldest structure in Cape Town. Leaving the Castle you will have the opportunity to view the City Hall, the Grand Parade, the Houses of Parliament, The Company Gardens, the Famous flower market on Adderley Street, bustling Long Street and Greenmarket Square as well as the very colourful and cultural Bo-Kaap. From here we will proceed to the V&A Waterfront, one of Cape Town's most popular attractions. You will have the opportunity to visit an exclusive Diamond and Tanzanite operation. This is where you will have the opportunity to proceed to Robben Island(If arranged) or proceed for 90 minutes of shopping in the very upmarket Victoria and Alfred Shopping Centre.. The visit to the top of Table Mountain and the Robben Island boat trip is subject to appropriate weather conditions.

HERITAGE & WINE CITY TOUR - FULL DAY (INCLUDES ROBBEN ISLAND) or HALF DAY
We can also incorporate a wine tasting into our city tour. We visit the boutique Signal Hill Winery, situated in the heart of the city, In the quaint and very historical Heritage Square.
The winemaker (Jean Vincent) chose to situate Signal Hill in the middle of the scenic city of Cape Town, at the crossroads of the top wine growing districts in South Africa. Signal Hill won the bid for Cape Town's first inner-city working winery.
The philosophy of Signal Hill has remained the same: Small is Beautiful, and the production is based on a maximum of 4 000 cases annually.
You would find it a challenge to come across a more exclusive wine experience anywhere in the world.
In Heritage Square - The earliest Dutch and Georgian houses were built in 1771; the Cape Heritage Hotel building itself was built in the 1780's.
Like many houses of the day, it was centred around an intimate courtyard. A grapevine, planted in this courtyard in 1781, still flourishes today, bearing fruit and shading guests who shelter here for their daily repast. Thanks to vigorous pruning each year, the oldest known fruit-bearing grapevine in South Africa survives without ever being fed or watered!
Archival research shows that most of the original buildings were used for commercial reasons; tobacconists, snuff makers, gunsmiths etc. Today is is a social hub of restaurants, this is where you have an opportunity to soak up the atmosphere and enjoy an aromatic coffee on the square.
